In addition to their US sales, Ford has plans for new EV launches in Europe and China. In Europe, the company will introduce an electric version of the popular Puma model, as well as two SUVs based on Volkswagen’s MEB platform. The Explorer nameplate will also make its debut on one of these MEB-based models. These new additions will join the already available Mustang Mach-E, E-Transit, and E-Transit Custom vans in the European market. China, on the other hand, already has the Territory EV, a redesigned version of the Yusheng S330 from Ford’s joint venture partner JMC.

While Ford’s current EV offerings in Australia are limited to the E-Transit and Mustang Mach-E models, the brand plans to introduce the electric Puma to the Australian market this year. The Puma aims to provide a more affordable and accessible EV option for Australian consumers.
